Jonathan O’Dwyer
Advisory Partner
Mr. O’Dwyer serves as an Advisory Partner at Cotton Creek Capital, where he provides strategic due diligence support for platform and add-on acquisitions and contributes executive and operational leadership across the firm’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Cotton Creek, Mr. O’Dwyer spent more than 20 years in executive leadership roles within the specialty chemicals industry, serving both lower middle-market companies and Fortune 500 organizations. Most recently, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Seatex, a Cotton Creek portfolio company.
Earlier in his career, Mr. O’Dwyer held Vice President positions with WeylChem and MFG Chemical. He also spent 14 years with Albemarle Corporation, where he progressed through manufacturing, technology, and business leadership roles before ultimately serving as Senior Director and Global General Manager of the company’s Bromine business through 2019.
Mr. O’Dwyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
